For over 100 years, we Muslims have experienced one war after another and have watched impotently as the West ignites wars, commits massacres, supports occupation and oppression without us being able to do anything about it.

But things have changed in the last two decades.

Thanks to the internet and social media, injustices can no longer be easily concealed. People are better connected and better informed these days, and they want to do something about the crimes.

But what can the individual do?

At least he can do his best not to finance the aggressors, because it is a fact that Western states have a common red line - profit.

They may control the media and politics, but we have power over our own money. We decide for ourselves what we spend it on, and as of today these states should know that they will damage their economy if they attack us.
